These Are SOME Patriots!

Come on, Sarah Palin and Rick Perry, you can't be a patriotic American and want your state to secede from the Union at the same time.

It seems like this would be obvious. They used to say "America -- Love It or Leave It." Now they seem to be saying, "America -- We Love It, We Want To Leave It." That doesn't make sense.

Palin has big experience in this, having been associated with some Alaskan independence party before. Their goal, Alaskan sovereignty, leaving America behind. And this is from someone who's seriously thinking about running for president?!

Then we have Gov. Rick Perry. He's such a patriotic American he's regularly calling for Texas' secession from the Union. Hmm, there's at least one person -- me -- who sees a disconnect there!
