President Barack Obama said Saturday he is ready to compromise with Republicans on health care if they are serious about it, but that an overhaul must go forward. "Let's get this done," he said.Is he going to fritter away his entire presidency trying to play footsie with the Republicans? Is it not occurring to him that they plainly don't want to play?
I'm getting sick of the whole disgusting display. When is he going to represent us, the folks who elected him? The Republicans didn't vote for him and won't vote for him next time. Why all this bending over backwards for them?
