This thing is just outside Mound City, Missouri, off the interstate on the west side, northwest of Mound City.I always wonder why it's there. It's setting next to a drainage ditch and so you have to assume it was there once upon a time to dig the ditch or clear it out.
But what? Someone left it? The owner died? Forgot about it? What?
It seems like it'd be a fairly expensive piece of equipment, especially back when it wasn't rusty, to just forget about and abandon.
