My latest movie acquisition is the DVD of "Fiddler on the Roof." Perhaps unbelievably, I've never seen this movie. But I'm enjoying it so far.
I like the musical format, since it takes away enough of the hard edge of reality that I can enjoy what I'm seeing. I definitely don't want to see a movie of people suffering without something to soften it. Not that I'm looking ahead, but of course there has to be some conflict.
The way I watch movies, about 20 minutes a day, I'll be watching this for a few days this week still. So I hope I continue to like it!
