The Teabaggers Are Vile

There's some sickening things going on in our country, the Teabaggers putting on another sickening demonstration, full of their own perverse way of looking at things.

In their moronic world, President Obama is some kind of Darth Vader/Adolf Hitler figure, which is absurd on the face of it. In their way of "thinking," he usurped his way into office. Never mind what we all remember from 2008, that he was elected in a landslide that wasn't contested. And so forth.

It's like collective insanity has descended on these poor birds and they don't have the intelligence to stay home and twiddle their thumbs.

We had a collective insanity in the Bush years and no one seemed to notice it. Maybe this is the last, terrible scream from those years, as we realize the craziness that happened after 9/11. Then the fact that, against all odds, we got a black president, brought forth all the racism that's just under the surface. So we have a unique set of circumstances and the rightwingers don't know how to cope with it.

If there should've been any teabagging revolution, it was in the Bush years, when the Bush administration literally said the executive was all powerful, the arbiter of what the Constitution said. Bush claimed he was supreme to the Constitution. Remember the whole Unitary Executive argument? And Dick Cheney even designated himself as one man the fourth branch of the government! That was an outrage indeed! But there was nary a peep from these (now) champions of liberty and the Constitution.

No, it's only when a black man was elected president that, coincidentally, they decided that anything the federal government does has to be a nefarious plot against them personally.

Looking at their posters -- references to Nazis, the president's face marked out, etc. -- they are truly vile people. But I'll cut them some slack. They're in the grip of something psychological. It appears they can't help it. Maybe the new healthcare insurance plan will cover whatever ails them!

Hey, Tomorrow's September 11!

That's great. I didn't even think of it coming up. That's the way it should be, unlike the constant grief that was imposed on us in the Bush years.

This is our first year to not have the Bush administration exploiting September 11. That's great. Right there's a huge reason to celebrate President Obama's election. It was always sickening to hear the Bush administration's crocodile tears about 9/11 while exploiting it for political gain.

It'd be interesting to know how many times the words "September 11" or "9/11" emanated from Bush's lying lips. That man was disgusting from Day One. But he was even more disgusting from Day Nine Eleven.

So ... it's coming up! This will be the first 9/11 I've looked forward to since the date gave us something to think about in 2001. Finally we're rid of the corrupt, exploitative Bush administration! Let freedom ring!

Just think, that poor old crook Dick Cheney is sitting in his bunker somewhere, praying for another terrorist attack. That's the legacy of the Bush administration. Have a terrorist attack on their watch ... they exploit it for their gain. Desire a terrorist attack on someone else's watch ... they'd exploit it for their gain. Must be nice to be in a position where you can't lose! Ha ha.

By the way ... Bush "kept us safe," except for a little footnote in history called 9/11. How is it he ever escaped all blame?

Cheney's Fear

Cheney "fears" the U.S. troop pullout from Iraq cities and the handing over of sovereignty to the Iraqis, that somehow would service heretofore will have been in vain if we ever leave. I can spell perpetuity without looking it up!

Of course the old twerp "fears" any kind of progress over there, since his whole legacy is one of fear. He was there for eight years stoking the fires of fear around the world, constantly dangling certain death over our heads here in America if we didn't go along with every harebrained criminal plan he and that servile moron Bush concocted.

Dick treasures being the scary Darth Vader character that's always in the shadows about to jump out at us.

Well, guess what, you scurve, we were actually doing all right before you and Bush invaded Iraq. Iraq wasn't coming to get us. And we'll do all right when we finally get out of there.

Thank goodness Cheney isn't in office anymore, because he would have us in these quagmires forever and a day, if not longer.

Cheney Vs. Obama

There's no actual information in this posting. I didn't see Obama vs. Cheney, today's showdown. But it's really annoying that Cheney is still around yakking it up. When you're out of office, go away. Especially since you didn't do anything any good while you were in.

I did hear a snippet of it on the news -- like about two sentences. Cheney was saying something about the Clinton years, them treating terrorist attacks like a law enforcement issue and responding to it after the fact.

Boy, oh, boy, do we have to spell it out to you, you ignorant old man. 9/11? Huh? It happened on your watch. You did nothing about it "before the fact." But boy, oh, boy, did you exploit it "after the fact!"

It's my contention that the Bush administration was thrilled to death with 9/11, which is borne out simply by the way they did in fact exploit it to the very hilt. They ran with 9/11 and that's all they talked about for the next six or seven years. We couldn't do anything normal, thanks to 9/11 and the Bush administration exploiting it, throwing it in our face at every turn.

I do agree if life gives you lemons to make lemonade. And that's what they did.

It was their incompetence and neglect that allowed 9/11 to happen. But they were sure competent and attentive when it came to milking it for all it was worth. The whole thing is tainted now as far as I'm concerned. I'm not going to any more 9/11 memorial services, lest I see Bush and Cheney there crying crocodile tears and soaking in the applause.

These guys were scum. Criminals. Cheney should go away. He should be locked up, honestly.

Viva Cheney, Palin, and Limbaugh!

A Republican strategist, John Weaver, says the GOP is headed for an electoral blowout in 2012 if they continue to be led by the demonic triumvirate of Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, and "Dick" Cheney.

So there is a certain joyous result promised in us putting up with these scumbags a little longer. On the one hand, they turn my stomach. On the other hand, I can put up with a sour tummy if it means another electoral blowout.

How low can they go? I hope they haven't hit bottom yet.

Dick Cheney

OK, we already know he's guilty -- he's admitted as much.

Now let's move on to the trial. We should not let these guys get away with their terrible criminal administration.

The love the latest, how he has explicitly said that George W. Bush signed off on torture.
